The Boks Step Up

The one obvious thing about this game was how Aussie have fallen in a ditch and can't seem to get out.

Kicking away posession when they have an attacking genius such as Latham at the back. What was worse was the fact that the kicks were even worse.

Their scrum was always on the back foot and doesn't appear to have improved all year.

For once, though (or maybe twice if you include last week) The Boks were prepared to chance their arm. They spun the ball wide and created some chances. The try that the halfback scored showed that they wanted to attack. It would have been so easy to take the kick.

24 to 16 was a good scoreline.

Gregan had one of his best games this year but he is still slow getting the ball out. Giteau was non existant and Mortlock was always trying to attack from the back foot.

So a good win to the Boks, who get my most improved of the Tri Nations teams and they still have some stars out with injuries.

As for Aussie, They are paying for not seeing the obvious years ago... and not building for the future... the trouble is that the future has now come and they are not up to the current speed required in the forward dept.

Life is a series of images that we place importance on. The images we see, shapes our decisions to act. The view we choose to see, shapes the action we take.
