Bloody Hell.

I haven't had the flu for about nine or so years now (since before the time that I left the "ex")

This week it hit me and I wondered if she was about.

Seems that I have a good dose and its quite amazing how it affects the body. When you smack your thumb with a hammer (I haven't done that for quite some time either) you know the cause but with the flu, there is no easy way to put your finger on the cause. The effect, though, is plain to see and feel.

I have given up trying to talk and for the last three days have snuck (as in sneak) away to bed much earlier than normal. I wandered aimlessly around work today while inside my body world war III took place. There seems to be a ceasefire at the moment but I am sure they are just reloading and preparing for tonights battle.

So I sit here during the ceasefire wondering if I should have a bite to eat.

Oh you poor thing. You need to go straight to bed with a hot water bottle full of brandy.

Haha, I tried that for a couple of days after attempting to do a days work. Not much success there, I'm afraid.

A quick as it came on it went and so tonight, being Friday, I am enjoying a JD and coke (you know the score, plenty of ice plenty of JD and a drop of coke)

Surprisingly, I am feeling on top of the world!!!

Life is a series of images that we place importance on. The images we see, shapes our decisions to act. The view we choose to see, shapes the action we take.
