I have heard that the definition of Insanity is "Doing the same things and expecting a different result"
Now if we talk about this in the context of the All Blacks, then everything is looking pretty good. Firstly, The All Blacks now have a reputation of peaking mid world cup, that is to say that they win everything between the world cups and then fall over at the last hurdle. They have been favourites virtually every time and have won only the first one. We kept on doing the same thing and we lost.
The build up to next years Rugby World Cup has been different. The cooaches have been building a squad of some thirty (or more) players that can play the top tier of rugby and they have been winning too. The five tests played this year... against Ireland (2) Argentina, Australia and Sth Africa, have all been won. Thats 100% success but reading the papers, it would appear that this isn't good enough for the general public (or would it be better to say, the media.)
Take todays headline Ugly wins leave ABs fans uneasy Well I am of the impression that we are on the right track. While other teams are struggling to find one team in their country that wins consistantly, we have two.
...and going by the defintion of Insanity, it might just be the difference between winning or losing next years Rugby World Cup

Life is a series of images that we place importance on. The images we see, shapes our decisions to act. The view we choose to see, shapes the action we take.
