I have to have a rant.

I am not exactly a political person but with the news bulletins carrying stories about government and the action of parliamentarians, I can't resist any longer.

The arguing that goes on when the house is sitting seems to be the most pathetic example that anyone could offer our kids as a way of conducting yourself in public.

Where are the basic manners and respect that we can afford each other?
Where are the decent people? These elected officials are just plain rude. How can we gain any faith that they are the right people to run a country?

Yesterday there was name-calling, spats and dissy-fits all in the name of "question time in the house"
God help our children if that is the example our leaders are setting.

From the point of view of a man in the street, I don't need statistics to tell me our roads are safer or not. Why won't someone be Man or Woman enough to stand up and say it how it is and how we all see it... that is, how we all see it, excluding politicians!!!!

I don't need two of them to have an argument about it, I want something to be done! Likewise, we all deserve better than what we are being dished up in the name of politics.
