Its over and the fat lady never sung

Christmas and New Year will always rate as a good time because that's what it is. Despite everything, it is a good catch up with family and friends and a break away from the usual day to day of work, rest and play.

Once the party is over, though, and its time to get back into the swing of things. Man, I can't believe the effort.

Now I know that effort is an internal thing. You know, it's self inflicted. One day can be a beauty and the next everything turns to custard. Thats our own internal grumblings. The day just goes on, it's how we approach it that throws up our own challenges or lack of.

It is this responsibility thing... Own up to it and suddenly there is something you can do about it (the 'it' in this case is whatever you wish to put in there that is giving you grief)

Nine times out of ten, the 'grief' never turns out as bad as you devise in your head. In your head, you can come up with the most amazing outcomes and when you think back on it, how many actually came out as you thought?

But I am waiting for something to happen. No one wants to know, or so it seems. CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS ARE OVER, I need to get back to work to maintain some sanity.

So I am waiting to hear some singing. I don't care what the song is, but if she don't sing soon, then the daily work, rest and play may never turn up... and I will be left in this sort of limbo between Christmas Cheer and a bad day at the office (or good day if I get my head straight)

Whatever happens, if you see some bald bloke wandering aimlessly around the streets, just humour him (I promise I won't bite)

Life is a series of images that we place importance on. The images we see, shapes our decisions to act. The view we choose to see, shapes the action we take.
